Shams is a campaign aiming at empowering civil society groups in Lebanon. Shams believes in the power of citizens’ voices, wants and needs to instill change by exercising their basic citizenship rights.

The brand identity was designed to reflect boldness and the resilience of the people behind the campaign and thus translates into a bold hand drawn logotype. The repetitive and pointy edges of the letters as well as the color palette imply the meaning of the brand name “Shams” (sun in Arabic) and further suggest the dynamic aspect of the campaign.
