Al-Jumhuriya is a leading independent media and knowledge production platform focused on Syrian affairs and the broader Arab region. 

Kite C.S. began the collaboration by developing an in-depth brand strategy that thoroughly evaluated the platform's positioning within the complex, fast-evolving alternative journalism landscape. From this foundation, a profound visual identity was crafted, deeply rooted in the preservation of culture, critical ideas, collective memory, and socio-political history, all of which play a pivotal role in reconstituting contemporary Syrian identity and public culture.

The core of the collaboration materialized through the complete digital design and information architecture of Al-Jumhuriya's web platform. The website's structural blueprint became the strategic backbone for organizing the brand’s expansive output, balancing rapid journalistic reporting with deep analytical research and cultural essays. To ensure the platform carried a distinct and authentic voice, the custom Arabic logotype and headline lettering were developed in close collaboration with type designer Khajag Apelian, resulting in a cohesive, authoritative editorial experience across both desktop and mobile layouts.
